DescriptionTrain spotters gather at Caberfeidh to snap a photograph of the last train for locals.

Don Jenks of Maclennan took this photograph while onboard the train.

Prior to the closure of the Catlins Branch Line in 1971, NZR put on the special steam passenger train to give locals on last ride between Tahakopa and Owaka.
