DescriptionThis is the first part recording of an oral history with Leadman Ibbotson of Owaka. Known as Ibby to many, Leadman has been involved in many aspects of the Owaka community including the rugby club, cricket club, Young Farmers Club, St John, Lions Club and many more. Ibby speaks of running the family farm, shearing, taking over the drapery store, and becoming the rural postman.
