DescriptionThis is a framed photograph of Councillor C.H. Cotton who represented the Waipori Riding on the Tuapeka County Council between 1945 and 1956. He also served as Chairman of the Tuapeka County Council in 1950.

This photograph is part of a collection of photographs of every councillor in the Tuapeka County's 113 year history. County Clerk Ron Bachelor began the collection which his successors, Bruce Allister and Brian Coleman continued. The collection can be viewed in the old Tuapeka County Council chambers at the Lawrence Library.Date1945-1956RightsThe photographer is unknown, therefore this image is considered an orphan work.
