DescriptionArthur Brunton was born to Harriet and Robert in 1877. By aged 22, Arthur had made his way to Waipori, where he is recorded as living with James C. Nicholson.
At this time, Arthur is also recorded as having donated to the Patriotic fund.
In 1927, Arthur married Alice Annie Zilla Smith who was 19-years his junior. The couple had a son, Laurence Alfred Brunton in 1928. Unfortunately, only a few years later, Arthur died in 1931 aged 53.
