DescriptionThis is the wedding photograph of Samuel Gare and Jessie Wyness Mitchell who married in 1923.
The couple had a daughter, Irene Margret Bloxham nee Gare (Rene) in 1924.
Samuel, who grew up at Waipori, died on 16 November 1925 and, as a WWI veteran, is buried in the soldiers section of the Anderson Bay Cemetery.
