DescriptionThis is a framed photograph of Councillor C.E Young who represented the Browns Riding on the Tuapeka County Council between 1944 and 1968. He also served as Chairman of the Tuapeka County Council in 1949.

This photograph is part of a collection of photographs of every councillor in the Tuapeka County's 113 year history. County Clerk Ron Bachelor began the collection which his successors, Bruce Allister and Brian Coleman continued. The collection can be viewed in the old Tuapeka County Council chambers at the Lawrence Library.Date1944-1968RightsThe photographer is unknown, therefore this image is considered an orphan work.
