HistoryGlenledi is a small coastal farming and holiday settlement to the east of Milton. It lies at the north end of Chrystall's Beach, six kilometres northeast along the coast from Toko Mouth. Glenledi is a corruption of the early name "Glen Lady", which was first applied to the area by a daughter of the Reverend Mr Dewes who named the area for a cow named 'lady'. Industries in the area once included both timber and flax mills. Glenledi School operated from 1879 to 1901 and again from 1933 to 1935. The area also had a post office from 1894 to 1931.
