DescriptionThis is a letter written to the Lawrence Volunteer Fire Brigade by T J Watts Secretary of the United Fire Brigade Association, dated 11 April 1939.
It appears the letter is a reply to a request from Lawrence Fire Brigade Secretary E J Weatherall for information on Supt J.O. Ledingham's service.
According to U.F.B.A records Ledingham joined the Lawrence Brigade on 16 November 1913 and left on the 7th January, 1924, after having served 10-years 1-month and 28-days.
