HistoryHerbert & Co were a grain merchant on the Tuapeka Goldfields. The company continued to operate long after the goldrush ended, selling the business to Wright Stephenson in the 1950s.
Today, the Tuapeka Goldfields Museum operates out of the old Herbert & Co building.
